Say it with flowers bloghop bag

Hooray!! Today it's my turn to show you what I have made for the ! Sew we quilt, Say it with flowers bloghop.

Thank you so much Mdm Samm and of course Carol for letting me participate in this fun bloghop!

From my precious vintage stash, I took a blue and white flowery fabric. Just because I love it. The perfect combination with ... purple, my favorite color. :)

I started making a bag, but it became a big flowery shopper in the perfect size: Big!

Well, it needed to be big for all those flowers I made! :)

Here's a little 'easy and quick flower phototutorial'.

Just make a whole lot of those little round flowers and stitch them in the middle on a firm base, just overlapping a little.
For this bag, I made 65 flowers. It was all the fabric that was left, after cutting the lining. :)

O, I love purple and flowers and vintage and bags. This will be my perfect bag.

See that lining? I'll be smiling everytime I open this bag. :)

Did I tell you, I love flowers? Well, I'm not the only one. Here's our Catty, 'helping' with the layout of my next flowery project, a crocheted anemone bag. :)
